Dear Professionals,
This letter is from a person who is a great believer in following a work-life balance. Work is important as it fetches you earning and reap your identity and fame. Earning is important as you being the breadwinner of your family. Identity and fame are important, as you attempt so hard to chase all the tough courses to fetch your degree. You sacrificed a major part of adulthood in studies for being what you are now. Raise a toast for your accomplishments. Cheers!
You are a passionate worker who serves before the deadline and in return gets appreciation. Added to the exact process you might get promoted to the next level. It’s really great! But did you ever bother to look deep into your health portfolio and personal life?
The company has a rule of 9 working hours a day which is taking almost a major part of the day. Then, what is the point of extending it to 12 hours? Please keep it restricted only for urgent deliverables. Try your hard to fix up the work given in the allotted time. Boost your smart skills.
Why do you need to work on weekends??
The weekend is for relaxing with family. After all, you are earning for the family to give them a great life. Live your life with them. Use all your sanctioned leaves. That’s for you. Let it not go to waste. Your health is first. Your mental well-being is a priority. You are working for your company. You aren’t an owner of it. If you suffer from illness the company will still be progressing.
Think over it.
Please make a budget according to your salary. Don’t over-commit yourself with a load of Equated monthly installments. A two BHK flat is sustainable than ruining your entire life in paying EMI’s. You too have a life, a passion to carry out.
Your life shouldn’t roam around the money.
Do a retirement plan well in advance so that you have an excel sheet to fix up by the targeted years. You can retire early to live your dreams as well.
I wish you all to have a great work-life balance to enjoy each day with your loved ones. Work is just a part of your life, not the only life. Lots of love!
Kindly let me know your opinion on my write-up.
Regards,
Sagarika Sahoo
