Most Aggressive Cat Breed in the World

March 13, 2024 by Emma Brown

Want to know some of the most aggressive kitties out there? Well, this is the perfect place for you to be. We have collected some of the best cats with the sharpest murder mittens and looks that could kill you alone.

Most Aggressive Kitties

Kitties are the best, they are small, they are cute, and they can kill you. Well, the last part might not appeal to everyone, but some people do like feisty cats. Here is a small list of some of the best and most aggressive cats out there.

Siamese

Easily one of the most beautiful cat breeds in the world. However, do not fall for their good looks. According to several studies, this breed is one of the most dangerous cat breeds out there. Siamese cats are moody, quick-tempered, and hate it when things don’t go a certain way. Whenever you are adopting a Siamese, just know that it is his house, you are just living. Siamese cats hate being touched and bathed. So, do not try your luck.

Bengal

Bengal cats are primarily a hybrid breed of cats. They are small, spotted, and elusive, like the famous Asian Leopard Cat. These are some of the most popular cats for house pets. However, these kitties are fast with their murder mittens and are some of the most aggressive cats out there.  Scientists believe the reason behind this aggression is their overall lineage. These cats are highly intelligent and active creatures with specified needs. If unmet, they can wreak havoc on your pieces of furniture and sofas.

Savannah

Often confused with the aforementioned breed, the savannah is a crossbreed between the African Serval cats and common house cats. Similar to their overall lineage, these cats demonstrate high intelligence and a penchant for an active lifestyle. Due to their Serval blood, these cats can be very feisty and moody, to say the least. Due to their primal ancestry, these cats are difficult to house-train.

Scottish Fold

These cats might look like the shiest and the most timid creatures with their rounded face and folded ears. But make no mistake, as they will definitely murder you in your sleep. Scottish folds can be quite affectionate and cuddly creatures. However, do not irk them. They are territorial and have anger issues. So, Scottish Folds cannot be in a house full of other cats. They love being the only cat in their house and take up all the love and affection. So, beware.

American Shorthair

American Shorthair is a highly intelligent creature. It can be easily house-trained. As a result, these cats are highly popular as house cats. Much like some of the cats we have discussed here, American Shorthair cats are highly independent creatures. They enjoy their ‘me’ time and hate when that does not happen. While they are not aggressive, they have a penchant for hunting. They will often bring small rodents and birds as prizes. Also, they hate being touchy-feely, so you might want to keep your hands off. Unless you want it to be painted with blood!

Egyptian Mau

Egyptian Mau is popularly known as one of the first cats that were ever domesticated by human beings. Back in the day, these cats were treated as royalties. You will find ancient depictions of these cats being a member of the royal court. This is one of the rarest cat breeds in the world. As a result, these cats are one of the most expensive breeds out there. Like royalties, these cats are territorial, egotistical, wary of strangers, and quick to temper. So be very careful not to piss them off.

Himalayan

If you have watched Stuart Little, I am pretty sure you are familiar with Snowbell. The iconic white cloudy Himalayan cat and hesitant brother of the mouse. While Snowbell is shown to be an envious creature, Himalayan cats are quite cuddly. However, their cuddles can come with a hint of sass and some dose of murder mittens. They can be very sassy and temperamental. Like Snowbell, these cats are territorial and hate when somebody comes into their space.

Sphynx

Aggressive cat breed

It is one of the most mesmerizing breeds of cats if you ask me. Resembling a lot like featherless chickens, these cats are wrinkly and old-looking. However, these aesthetic qualities set these grumpy creatures apart from most other cats on this list. The Sphynx cats are highly intelligent beings with one of the sharpest reflexes. If these cats are not given enough playtime and outdoor time, these cats can become agitated and aggressive. This is probably the only cat that not only looks like it could kill you, but it will kill you.

Closing Note

With that, we have reached the very end of our list of some of the most aggressive and smallest cats out there in the world. If you want to add some more according to your preferences, do write to us. However, the above list doesn’t really mean that these cat breeds are not for you. If you have a liking for any of the above-mentioned breeds, then do get yourself these beautiful cat breeds and with proper socialization and training you may have the best pet purring in your home.
