With rising mercury levels, kids and adults often crave for cold drinks and ice creams. At such times, a refreshing mocktail is all you need to revitalise yourself. You can simply indulge in these drinks in the evenings or prepare batch mocktails for friends and guests.

How Are Mocktails Beneficial in Summer?

Mocktails can be very nutritious and a healthy drink during summer. With the addition of herbs, they can have ample cooling properties.

These herbal summer drinks easily hydrate your body and help to calm you down. They can be soothing to your mind and can be easily prepared at home. Some herbs such as basil, parsley, lemongrass, lavender or mint can be used to enhance the taste.

Refreshing Healthy Mocktails

Just beat the heat and quench your thirst with delicious, refreshing healthy drinks. With fresh fruits, herbs, and minimal added sugar, the power-packed drinks can be perfect for staying cool and hydrated without compromising on taste.

So, here is a list of healthy mocktails that can tempt your taste buds and provide a refreshing escape from the summer heat.

Classic Lemonade

Having a glass of lemonade can be a perfect summer drink. Add ice cubes, water, and sugar and squeeze some fresh lemons. Add flavours like strawberry or mint to augment the taste. You can also muddle some berries for a fruity twist.

Watermelon Mint Cooler/Mocktail

It is a popular mocktail that can be easily prepared at home on a hot summer day. Just blend some watermelon chunks, fresh mint leaves, some ice cubes and a squeeze of lemon juice into the drink. A simply delicious naturally hydrating summer drink is ready.

Iced Tea

You can brew your favourite black, herbal, or green tea and just allow it to cool. Add ice cubes, a sprig of mint, a few drops of lemon juice and a little bit of honey to enhance taste.

Tropical Paradise

Coconut water has a naturally sweet taste and helps to cool your body. You can use it for preparing smoothies or mocktails or drink it chilled. Combine coconut water with pineapple juice, lemon juice and grenadine syrup and get a delightful taste of the tropics.

Cucumber Mint Cooler

Coconut water has electrolytes and helps to replenish your body’s fluids and minerals. Muddle some fresh mint leaves and cucumber slices in a glass. Add ice, and coconut water and squeeze some lime juice. A simple mocktail that helps you to feel refreshed and hydrated throughout the day is ready.

Aam Panna

It is a popular raw mango drink packed with Vitamin C. The Indian mocktail is made with raw mangoes, black salt, cumin powder and sugar. The delightful drink has a sweet and tangy flavour that refreshes you completely during summer.

Tropical Smoothie

A delicious and healthy beverage to keep you cool and hydrated. Blend some frozen chunks of mango, banana, pineapple, orange juice and a little coconut milk for a taste of paradise.

Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade

A refreshing mocktail perfect for the summer heat. Combine fresh strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar, and top it with sparkling water for a lovely fizzy drink.

Peach Melba Iced Tea

It is a delicious drink with beautiful colours. Steep hibiscus bags in hot water and allow them to cool. Then add peach puree, and lime juice, and top it with sparkling water. You have a delicious mocktail to beat the heat.

Cucumber Lime Agua Fresca

A cool and light Mexican drink perfect for get-togethers. Blend cucumber slices, lime juice, ice, a little sugar and water. Strain and serve in a glass.

Mango Lassi

It is a pro-biotic yoghurt-based drink that has all the essential nutrients. Just blend thick curd with mango pulp and a little sugar and the delicious creamy drink is ready.

Aloe Vera Smoothie

Aloe Vera is amazingly hydrating and has ample health benefits. Blend fresh aloe vera gel with water, lemon juice and a little honey and cool yourself with this soothing drink. You can also blend aloe vera juice with fruits like mango, pineapple, berries or any citrus fruits and prepare a delicious aloe vera juice smoothie.

A refreshing mocktail that can be easily made at home on a hot summer day. Just muddle some fresh mint leaves and lime wedges in a glass. Add some lime juice, club soda, and simple syrup to make a wonderful simple mocktail.

Berry Banana Smoothie

It is a delicious smoothie that helps you to stay hydrated during summer. Just combine some frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries or raspberries), bananas, yoghurt and milk to prepare a rich creamy drink.

Green Tea-infused Peach Smoothie

It is a healthy and flavourful drink. Just blend some fresh or frozen peaches, green tea, a squeeze of honey and yoghurt to prepare a delicious, vitamin-packed smoothie.

Blueberry Lemonade

A healthy lemonade with fresh blueberries. Muddle a handful of blueberries, then add lemon juice, water and a little honey. Add ice and garnish with fresh blueberries to make a perfect drink for the hot summer weather.

Without the drawbacks of sugary soda, mocktails are the best way to bear the heat. They are delicious and the best way to remain hydrated. So, enjoy your healthy mocktails, stay cool and feel refreshed!
