The total length is 10 ft. And me being just a petite 5’3” was worried about how to adjust it to my height. All that you have to do is push the rope till you find a suitable length. In my case, I had to unscrew the cap at the bottom of the handles and push the rope through it till I got the desired length.

Professional boxers and fitness experts make it look like a cakewalk when the truth is they have practiced for a long period of time. So, to benefit from this exercise and to avoid injury, keep the following things in mind:
- Always keep a correct posture. Do not hunch and keep your back straight.
- Land on the balls of your feet while skipping.
- Look straight ahead.
- You need to jump only a few centimeters off the air.
- Use proper shoes
